2025 Bugatti Chiron – Hypercar – Twenty years later the game-changing Bugatti Veyron went into production and eight years later the Chiron was introduced, a new era of Bugatti. The Bugatti Tourbillon is the culmination of 115 years of Bugatti history and the embodiment of Ettore Bugatti’s ethos: “If it compares, it is no longer a Bugatti” and “Nothing is too beautiful.” The result is the Tourbillon, an imperious hybrid supercoupe that sees Bugatti looking back a hundred years as much as in its legendary past, but not in the way you might expect.
Powered by the new naturally aspirated 8.3-liter V16 engine, developed with Cosworth. This power, combined with a hybrid system with three electric motors, provides an exceptional power of 1,800 horses. The electric motors are powered by a 25kWh oil-cooled 800V battery, offering an impressive all-electric range of over 60km.

Building on the automaker’s back catalog, including cars like the Type 35 racer, the legendary Type 57 SC Atlantic and the sleek 41 Royale, the Tourbillon now sits lower, slimmer and wider. The step inside and Tourbillon art combines a high degree of balance with its extreme engineering. In keeping with the theme of timelessness, it doesn’t feature large fixed screens, not even the small screens of the Chiron that surround the central tachometer. Instead, Bugatti has leaned on an inspired watch cluster that looks like a mechanical watch for its new interior. Comprised of over 600 parts, the real deal is made up of high numbers, physical hands that use titanium, sapphire and ruby in their construction. The ultra-luxury instrument cluster is fixed to the center of the central steering wheel, meaning that only the rim of the steering wheel rotates in reverse.

The center console is a mix of glass and aluminum, and the engine starter lever connects the new car to the pioneer days of the car. The seats are fixed to the floor for maximum weight savings, while the pedal box is electrically adjusted to a comfortable driving position. Only Pagani da Vinci masters come close to referencing this level of craftsmanship, and the refreshing focus of the all-new 2024 hypercar is firmly in the finer details of the interior.

In an interview with Auto Express, Rimac said that Bugatti is planning an electric engine in the Chiron’s successor. He also said he would argue that senior management is pushing the hypercar hybrid way.
“It wasn’t an easy time, but I knew exactly what I wanted the next car to be (after the Chiron) and we started working on our engine,” Rimac told the outlet. “We started developing a new combustion engine two years ago before we took over the company, which I don’t think anyone expected.”

Next Bugatti Hypercar To Have
